This piece is called Platform of Venus by Ricki Mountain. This is an example of Repetition because the square shape is repeated. It also is an example of variety because the squares are different colors and size.
In Andy Warhol's 10 Marilyns there is variety in the repeated images by using different colors for each Marilyn.
